Vision
Fís

Where there is no vision, people perish (Prv 30:8). The fabric of our vision is a simple but singular weave of two strands - Christian and cultural.

Ethos
Coláiste Chríost Rí is committed to Catholic education. Rooted in faith, we cherish Gospel values. Coláiste Chríost Rí is committed to Irish education. Rooted in homeland, we cherish Gaelic culture and tradition. And within this ethos we pursue academic and sporting excellence. Our vision is Christian and Gaelic.

Curriculum
In this Christian community, every person is valued equally and given a sense of belonging. We are committed to the all-round development of all our students. Our Curriculum is the aggregate of all the learning experiences in our school community. Our Curriculum socialises our students into the norms, values, belief-systems and way of life in Coláiste Chríost Rí.

Aims
The aim of a curriculum like ours, is not merely the transmission of skills and information, but rather the engaging of our students in a process of critical thinking and holistic learning, leading to the transformation of the learner. Ours is the view that the mind is 'a fire to be kindled' rather than 'a vessel to be filled.'

Mission Statement
There are two kinds of education: education for life and education for living. We do both. Our Mission Statement - Fís, Fás agus Forbairt puts it succinctly:

Our Curriculum tries to maintain a creative balance between preparation for the workplace and the development of the person.
